| Miscellaneous Guidelines Here are some basic rules, information, and things to follow while you're on the site that aren't really addressed in any other area. SummonsUnlike most sites, we believe here at Naruto Crossroads that a summon is something that can be like its own character. We're not going to limit their usage based on what YOU have. Why should you be forced to make your lizard dolphin have wind release just because it's your primary element? These kinds of systems are awfully dumb, and so this particular section is to inform you that there aren't any too specific restrictions when it comes to designing the abilities of your summons. They can have their own elements and proficiencies, the latter being within moderation and based around their chakra cost or rank. If you look at the Kuchiyose no Jutsu you can see that the basic amounts for summoning your creature is Low and Some for E, D, and C-Ranked summons, and then Some to Medium for B-Ranked, finishing with Medium to High for A or S-Rank. This is subject to change based on the moderation of your summon application, so be prepared to make any changes necessary. At the moment, only one particular species can be signed with a contract. But special events, permissions, or other unlisted conditions may allow you to have more than this at some point in the future. ____ Shadow Clone TechniqueShadow Clones return chakra they haven't used upon dispersion. - Spoiler:
Name: Shadow Clone Technique

Range: Short-Range
Chakra Consumption: Small, splits remaining chakra in half temporarily. Any chakra not used by clone upon it's destruction will return to the user.
Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this technique creates clones of the user. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows, though even then it may not be enough, as evident when during the Fourth Shinobi World War a few more notable clones of Naruto took heavy hits but didn't disperse. The clones can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original.
Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the actual person even by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance.

Ninjutsu Technique

Description: The Body Flicker Technique is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. However, depending on the rank of the user, they will be able to trace the movements of others using this technique. It works on the following system:
A ninja can trace the body flicker movements of opponents of equal or lesser rank. Such as a Chunin will be able to trace the movements of another Chunin or Genin. This applies to chakra levels rather than title ranks, allowing certain characters to have an upper hand in speed depending on their level.
In addition to this, executing each level of Body Flicker requires a very brief charging time. In order to use Body flicker at the level of Low, the user does not need hand seals, and can move after about a second pause.
All levels after this require the holding of a hand seal. At Some, the user needs to hold the seal for around three seconds. At Medium, the user needs to hold the seal for around six seconds. For High, the user needs to hold the seal for around ten seconds.
